This project is inspired by and based on the imagery of
Pergamon Altar. In Ancient Greek mythology, Gigantomachy is an epic battle between Olympians and Titans, between new and old gods. For this font, figures of the frieze have been converted to petroglyph-like symbols; each figure represents a certain glyph plus some extra characters. In such a way, any sentence or text can be translated to the language of the Frieze.
The project was made in 2017-2018 in HfK Bremen (University of Fine Arts Bremen).
